I began competing in CAS in 1994 and in time joined the ranks of the top shooters at the local clubs. Unfortunately,
winning a major match consistently remained out of reach. Through the years I had many occasions to shoot with
and observe World & National Champions, in hopes of gaining insight to their success. This worked to a small
degree, although it soon became apparent I needed the advice of someone more knowledgeable. Satisfied with my shooting
abilities, I felt it was elsewhere that I needed help. Where better than at Evil Roy's Shooting School? It turned
out to be a wise decision on my part. His school teaches all aspects of Cowboy Action Shooting from A to Z, with
particular emphasis on gun handling and economy of motion. It is here that valuable seconds can be gained and where
I believe he helped me most.

| I was very fortunate to have Evil Roy's training from the very start of my CAS involvement. With only three months
in the sport, I placed in the top 50 overall at EOT. Then I finished 11th at Cheyenne and top ten in Denver, 2nd
overall at Showdown at Buck Creek and 6th overall at Range War. If you're in the sport for competition or just
for fun, Evil Roy's class will bring more enjoyment to your shooting. My thanks to all three, Gene,Karen and Randi.
Thanks you for all your help. |

| I figured with a few Nationals under my belt, what could a shooting school do for me? Well, as I recently
discovered, quite a bit. I learned ACCURACY!!!! Evil Roy Shooting School was a huge asset for me.Since
attending the Evil Roy Shooting School I have decreased my misses by 90%, cut transition time between firearms,
and increased my level of confidence. |

I want to commend you on an excellent school for Cowboy Action Shooting®. It was thorough and conducive
to learning. I appreciate the total approach to this course of instruction, shooting skills, practice drills,
preparation, health and mental aspects. Every question was answered, even those that give you the competitive
edge in winning. I would be remiss in not mentioning your excellent staff, your wife Karen-Wicked Felina,
and granddaughter Randi-Holy Terror.
Well, what was the result? My shooting skills have improved. I recently won my first stage and finished
in the top 15%. That was followed by winning two stages and coming in second the following week.
I want to shoot as well as I am capable. I believe your school has provided me with the background to do
that. I recommend your school to anyone who wants to get started or hone already competitive skills.
This course is for the serious competitor or beginner. |

| After five years in S.A.S.S., I was falling further behind my competition. Since attending Evil Roy’s seminars,
I have gained time on the shooters in my class and made the top ten in frontier cartridge class at Winter Range
2001. |

| I went to the Evil Roy Shooting School after competing in just eight matches with the hopes of learning the mechanics
of Cowboy Action Shooting. What was taken away from the class was much more than anticipated. Everything
from proper practice, accuracy, gun placement, transitioning, how to read a stage and how to mentally prepare for
a stage was included in the class. I have finished in the top ten of every match including E.O.T. since going
to the Evil Roy Shooting School. If you want to be a top competitor or just become efficient to have more
fun, I would highly recommend this school. Not only will you have a chance to learn from the top shooters
in the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting, you will have a chance to learn it from the nicest people this sport has
to offer. |

| The Evil Roy Shooting School will help any cowboy shooter, beginner, or top competitor get to the next level. The
information that is provided will allow any shooter to have more fun, become more safe, and last but not least,
more competitive. He and his staff could not be more professional. I competed in the Kentucky state championship
four days after his class and won top over-all shooter using all his techniques. If that isn't results I don't
know what is! |

| Just thought you would like to know that the exercises and things I learned in your school paid off. At the NVV
Regional (July 26-28), it was all still too new to digest, but following that match, my wife and I had a good practice
session, and then the following weekend, August 3rd and 4th, we competed in Renton, WA, at the Washington State
Championship, better known as Westmatch. Based on your input, we shot a lighter load in our pistols (still not
a mouse load, but definitely more manageable), and because the targets were smaller and farther apart on every
stage, I made a concerted effort to hit every target, even at the risk of looking "slow". Front sight.
Front sight. I missed only one pistol target in 10 stages of shooting. I finished 8th overall for the match, and
3rd Traditional, out of 160+ total shooters. My wife, Misty Steel, finished 2nd Modern (Way to go!). I had never
finished in the top 20 for any major match in 3.5 years of CAS. I just wanted you to know that your class really
DID make a difference for both of us... Actually Robbie's (Misty's) difference showed up right away by her making
the top gun shootoff that very weekend in Oregon!!! You were there, you saw it! Maybe, just maybe one day,
I'll get there myself...Thanks again for spending time with us at the Regional, and for passing along some valuable
shooting skills. Your class is definitely worth the cost. We hope to see you again next year. Maybe one year we
may even try to make End of Trail or Winter Range. |

The exciting news at our end of the trail is all about "Buxom Boo" - your student's 2003 accomplishments
in Cowboy Action Shooting. As reported earlier:
She was 4th place Senior Women's at "Mule Camp" - Georgia
She was 2nd place Senior Women's at "Guns of August" - Ohio
She was 2st place Senior Women's at "The Uprising at Swearing Creek" - North Carolina
Now, the big news! We held the first Tennessee State Championship at Wartrace, Tennessee. Marty was 1st place Senior
Women's and was the Ladies Tennessee Champion. Enclosed you will find a picture of her with the men's state champion,
Will Reilly. I must admit, for a gal to have shot her first gun a few months ago and have accomplished what she
has in just about a year of shooting, is certainly amazing! I am very proud of her. Thank you so much for helping
get her stated and gaining some confidence. I may need to send her back for a few more lessons, so she will be
better able to defend her title. Also, thank you for helping both of us enjoy Cowboy Action Shooting more. I am
shooting my Colt Pistols in my Evil Roy Rig. |

| I am running out of orange dots so I must have practiced enough! What a REMARKABLE school that you people run.
I am now perplexed as to tell all of my friends as to my wonderful and informative time that I had during the two
days that I spent with all of you or let them flounder along with their own concept of how to shoot a match. You
have an unusual knack for conducting a class that is informative while maintaining a comfort level with all in
attendance. After just two days with you my brain was on overload, all the time I felt in the company of friends.
An odd thing happened while training a dog, I became aware that I now am loading my over and under two shells at
a time. How's that for subliminal training? I wish to thank the three of you for the personal hands on schooling
that was afforded to me. Please keep me informed of future classes in my area as I will plan to attend. Can't get
enough of a great thing! |
